As you will no doubt be aware, doom and gloom reports of the alleged ‘credit crunch’ are all over the news at the moment. Personally, I think businesses need to stand up and fight rather than accepting the worst-case scenarios. A few months ago, Google improved one of their tools available to website owners and search marketers to allow them to view exactly how many visitors searched for a specific keyword in a month. This is a really useful tool for you to assess where you should be expending your online marketing efforts. Ideally you want to be targetting high-traffic, low-competition keywords.
Once you’ve found a good keyword phrase to target, you know what you should be optimising your website towards to gain those high search engine rankings. There are many aspects to search optimisation - we will be providing a guide to basic optimisation in future newsletters, but if you would like us to take care of your search marketing and get high search engine rankings then please contact us.
