In a nutshell, Google PageRank (PR) is a measure of how many links you have coming into your website (your link popularity). Although it is based on a scale from 0 to 10, it is logarithmic and this means that it takes a lot more links to get from a PR4 to a PR5 than it does to get from PR3 to PR4. PageRank isn't just about the quantity of inbound links, it is also about the quality of the links - in other words, the PageRank of the referring page. The higher the PR of the linking site, the better. Sorry, but the rest of this article is currently under development... please check back again soon.
