Paypal Website Payments Pro is good - very easy to integrate with a commercial shopping cart. Some people were wary of PayPal - because it is available to everybody it was considered a little amateurish. But now, more big companies are using it and it has much more credibility among customers.

I agree - it's simple and easy to sign up, and they respond quickly to email enquiries. I'm not sure what will happen if I ever have a dispute - I've seen some less than favourable comments about PayPal on the web. However, I think if you give good customer service you should be able to resolve any issues with your customers, rather than having them resort to PayPal. So far, all my customers have been happy with my service, and I have been happy with PayPal.

I've been using Paypal website Payments Pro for my PAT Testing Training Courses and it works very well. It's easier to sign up, especially if you have a new business.

I was with Barclays Merchant Services for a while and that was fine, except they used to hold on to the money for 28 days before passing it over. PayPal keep back a small percentage for 90 days, but pass on the rest immediately - this seems much fairer for a new business.
